BioI am an neuro-optical engineer...from the future!
You might be wondering how I came to be updating my LJ in 2008 even though I live in 2030. I haven't traveled back in time, but one of my good friends at Advanced Integrated has developed a technology that can send information back in time, and I wrote a program to post information from my life on LJ.
I'll try to update this with stories from my life in 2030. I recently finished my coursework for a masters in cognitive photonics, and I expect to graduate in June. Right now I'm spending a lot of time finishing my thesis and looking for a job. I also like to think about technology and how it influences society, so I will post thoughts on that as well.
Because information time-travel works both ways, if you leave a comment, I'll receive it exactly 22 years in the future. I can't call our online conversations "in real time" (what is so real about it now, anyway?), but it will seem that way to us.
